Why going to China for cancer treatment?

Stomach cancer is a disease where abnormal cells in the stomach grow uncontrollably. Early detection is crucial for better treatment outcomes, signs and symptoms of stomach cancer may include:

  • Trouble swallowing
  • Belly pain
  • Feeling bloated after eating
  • Feeling full after eating small amounts of food
  • Not feeling hungry when you would expect to be hungry
  • Heartburn
  • Indigestion
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Losing weight without trying
  • Feeling very tired
  • Stools that look black

Stomach cancer can be elusive in its early stages, often presenting no symptoms. However, when symptoms do manifest, they may include indigestion and upper abdominal pain. These signs may not surface until the cancer has progressed significantly. Advanced stages of stomach cancer can bring about additional symptoms such as profound fatigue, unintentional weight loss, vomiting blood, and the presence of black stools.

Metastatic stomach cancer, which spreads to other parts of the body, exhibits symptoms specific to its location of spread. For instance, when cancer metastasizes to the lymph nodes, palpable lumps may develop beneath the skin. If the cancer spreads to the liver, jaundice—characterized by yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes—may occur. In cases where cancer spreads within the abdominal cavity, fluid accumulation may result in abdominal swelling, altering its appearance.
